As I remember, the wee Arbarth was a hoot to drive but the single seaters are where its at with this Sim.
They way you can flat spot a tyre and feel it through the ffb was always a nice touch.

Haven't driven the little Abarth yet. Been on the open wheelers. Very different and very good. Definately a 100% Sim.

Really like it , More cars are coming, ie Lambo and others and quite a few tracks available too. Nice. Very nice

I am going to go for it and get GSC too. F*$k the expense. Just buy less wine and cakes this month!

Just for the record: I am not trying to compete with rFactor in the slightest. Wouldn't and couldn't do that. I am just finding ways to fill gaps. A few others are trying new things which is great, like iRacing, which I may have to resort to but I am trying to find a cheaper alternative. I am not knocking it guys. Its not yet for me.

NKPro is 11 squid. Its good. Very good, but never raced with it yet.
GameStockCar is a little bit more, but with the new 'Pack' its more than stock cars. Its a fully moddable race sim.

I just think it may be worth a change to an occasional alternative whilst waiting for PCars, rFactor2, Asseto Corsa GTR3 and Flight Sim 237!!

Its like having a new girlfriend and finding new ways to say her arse isn't big. The same as trying to stop the back end coming out of a new car in a new sim!

I think your post is spot on .. on all accounts Ken.
Personaly i never thought i would say this but , regarding Iracing 2.0 & now that i have tried it again and took part in some races i find going back into rfactor fairly poor tbh.

GameStockCar is a little more polished as an all in one system / game ... but like has been said that it's hard to see someone pay the money with a small ish set of tracks .. as a standalone series i think it is prob one of the best even tho it is still basicaly Rfactor.

NKPro sounds good if open wheelers are all you want to drive , it again sounds like it has limits to the overall appeal it would have.
PCars, rFactor2, Asseto Corsa GTR3 and Flight Sim 237!! will all need to wait!

Rfactor 1 wins on amount of cars available all at NO Cost ... that's fairly hard to beat the biggest thing against it nowadays seems to be it's age because things in other sims have upped the anti in diffrent area's and these new ideas and new bits of tech that come with these new sims are hard to igore once you have tried and tested them.

Seeing all these new games coming out, all are promising the next level of realism and would be good to race on. With 4 next gen racing sims coming out though it will mean racers will be scattered around and will have smaller grids as a result. Too much choice. If only they would all just become one big team (SimRacingSyndicate) and produce one epic game (Ultimate Sim Racing) encompassing all the good ideas from each one. Imagine the force feedback precision, the quality of cars and tracks, the mammoth grids, the....i think i need to sit down for a moment.

Great response guys. You are both right. The best at the moment is rFactor I agree. We use it and I love it.
I am just trying to find something different to add 'something else' to the whole enjoyment of entertainment.

Maybe all we need is a really good mod and some new awesome tracks.

Anyway. Getting used to NKPro. Nice. Graphics great. Would love a race one day in the right car. So, going online in it and see what happens. Seems to be a limited but lively community out there.

Havent got GSC yet, but been trying out rFactor mod of it and I am thinking.

Who is up for GameStockCar Mod (find a link later) at Interlagos or another Brazilian track?

No response for GSC so I took the plunge and got 3 month sub for the price of 1 to see what iRacing is all about.
First and foremost, is rFactor in the club, and these others I am just trying out to excite me!

GSC 2013 is released at about £16. I got it as i was bored hot lapping on AC. I realise it's rF1 revamped but it is awesome - anybody else got it?

Yes, I thought it was amazing. Too late now for me.

I know its rf revamped, but my word, what a revamp, and to be honest I think its a game in its own right.

While I am here, I have disks for rFactor and gtr2 and others should anyone want them. I will look to see exactly what I have and free to anyone.
