How do you setup a server Pat, me and Iain couldn't get it to work?

The only SIM I can host with is PCars....no idea why that is. Got to be settings in antivirus or router I suppose.

I know my connection is good enough (as long as both kids and wife aren't steaming at same time - which happens alot!) :)

Yeah mate your right , GSC is a bit of a pain to get working tbh , but thankfully the in game hosting works when its just for a few to race on , the dedicated server seems to need run Via the steam and the only way to join ( if your the host ) is join Via LAN not Internet m8.

Guys. The one thing with trying to host anything, regardless if its a sim or shoot em up is to open the ports on the router. Some routers call them Service Channels. This is what I remember from the old days. It doesn't change.

However, I am sure Patrick with give you all the info as he is doing it now.

I hear ya Ken, but when I look at ports and stuff in my homehub settings - it doesn't make sense, even with checking online!!

As I am close to box in my street I get 79mb down and about 19mb up. Plenty good enough for hosting if I could work it out ::)

I must admit the GSCE is not as easy to setup as say rfactor ( multiplayer dedicated ) everything is basically the same i done as the instructions say Ports ect , but then had to do some extra faffing about and yes i got it running but it was messy IMO.

I will get this weekend out of the way ( few things to do ) i Will put the server up again for a few nights and maybe try to catch up with one or 2 of you guys with the Euro Football being on might be a bad idea lol but can only try.
